This Rental Policy explains the terms on which Lend'L rents surveillance and security cameras to customers across India. It brings together, in one place, the key rental terms that also appear in our Terms of Service, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Shipping & Installation Policy. Where there is any conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.

1. Eligibility & KYC

  • You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to rent from Lend'L.
  • KYC verification (Aadhaar, PAN or equivalent) is mandatory before a rental can be activated.
  • Rentals are available to residential, commercial and enterprise customers.

2. Ownership of Equipment

  • All equipment rented from Lend'L remains the property of Lend'L at all times.
  • You may not sub-let, resell, transfer, modify or use the equipment for any unlawful purpose.
  • You are responsible for the safekeeping of the equipment for the duration of the rental.

3. Rental Term & Lock-in

  • Rentals run on a monthly subscription for an agreed lock-in period selected at checkout.
  • Rental payments are due in advance for the agreed lock-in period.
  • At the end of the lock-in, the rental continues on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled or returned.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of 18% GST unless stated otherwise.
  • A refundable security deposit may be required at the start of the rental.
  • Late payments may attract a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding amount.

5. Security Deposit

  • The deposit is refunded in full within 7 business days of equipment return, provided all equipment is returned in good working condition, there are no outstanding dues or penalties, and the return is at the end of the agreed period.
  • Deductions may be made for damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing accessories, or unpaid dues.

6. Delivery & Installation

  • Lend'L arranges delivery and basic installation at the address you provide.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary; we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control.
  • Installation and delivery charges are non-refundable once the service has been performed.

7. Maintenance & Defective Equipment

If equipment is defective or stops functioning due to a manufacturing defect (not misuse), we will:

  • Arrange a free replacement or repair within 48 hours of your complaint;
  • Provide a prorated credit for any downtime exceeding 48 hours; and
  • Offer a full refund if we cannot provide a working replacement within 7 days.

8. Damage, Theft or Loss

  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition as delivered, subject to normal wear and tear.
  • Damage, theft or loss of equipment will be charged to you at the replacement cost.

9. Cancellation & Early Termination

  • Before delivery: Cancel before dispatch for a full refund of any advance rental paid, processed within 5–7 business days.
  • After delivery: No refund applies for the current rental month once equipment has been delivered and installed.
  • Early termination: If you end the rental before the agreed lock-in, an early termination fee equal to two months' rental or the remaining rental amount (whichever is lower) applies. The deposit is refunded after deducting any outstanding fees and damage charges.

10. Returns

At the end of your rental, Lend'L will coordinate collection of the equipment. Please ensure all units and accessories are available and in working condition so your deposit can be released without deductions.

11. Camera Footage & Data

  • You own and control the footage recorded by cameras you rent. Lend'L acts as a data processor for that footage on your behalf.
  • Footage is stored in the Lend'L cloud for the retention period you configure (default 7 days); older footage is permanently deleted on a rolling basis.

12. Limitation of Liability

Lend'L is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our equipment or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
